“Read-only mode is genuinely read-only. Schema introspection matched a live psql session exactly.”
The system
Every value on this page is rendered from src/styles/theme.css and the real
components. If it looks right here, it's right everywhere. The identity in one line:
evidence is the aesthetic. Cobalt acts, green and red judge, mono states machine
facts, and everything else stays quiet.
Color
Three jobs, never mixed: surfaces & text (neutrals), action (cobalt), verdicts (green / red / amber). If cobalt ever means "good" or green ever means "click here", the trust vocabulary is broken.
Page surface Tinted surface: hero wash, chips, author band Every border Headings, names, strong Card prose (curator takes) Secondary text, nav, labels Tertiary: fine print, counts Cobalt: actions and links only, never a verdict Verdict: alive / vetted Halo behind the green dot Verdict: failing / flagged Halo behind the red dot Verdict: attention, not failure Curator's pick border Flagged card border Type
Archivo carries everything human; Outfit (geometric) sets the brand wordmark only; JetBrains Mono is reserved for machine facts like timestamps, install counts, type tags, and key hints. Mono is a signal that a machine wrote it, so never set opinions in mono.

Spacing
A 4px ramp; --space-5 (20px) is the page gutter. Every padding, margin, and
gap on the site snaps to a step, so nothing lands on an in-between value. Reach for a
token, never a raw px.
Micro: kbd / tag inset Icon gaps, tight pairs Chip interior, inline gaps Default gap, card padding Card interior, grid gutters The page gutter Group spacing Section padding Section breaks, band padding Hero + page-bottom breathing room Primitives
One primary button per view. Ghost is the paid ask, and it must never look louder than the free path.
The card
The atom of the registry: name, type tag, then the text (a quoted take only after a real hands-on audit, a plain summary until then), then the evidence row. Four states. Flagged cards stay published; a directory that hides failures is an ad.

A semantic code toolkit built on language servers: symbol-level search, reference tracing, and precise edits instead of whole-file rewrites.
“OAuth token refresh loop in 2 of the last 5 checks. Author notified Jul 9, delisted Jul 16 if unresolved.”
Voice
The honest inspector: states findings, never sells. Verdicts come with dates and counts; criticism comes with a deadline and a path back.
Write this
- “Tested July 8. Passed 4 of 5 checks. Here's the one it failed.”
- “Does what it says. Says less than it does.”
- “Author notified Jul 9, delisted Jul 16 if unresolved.”
Never this
- “The ultimate supercharged MCP server ⚡🚀”
- “Trusted by thousands of developers!”
- Any verdict without a date attached.
Motion & elevation
One easing (--ease-out), one speed (--duration-hover). Cards and
buttons lift 1–2px on hover with their token shadow; nothing else moves or casts. Every
lift is disabled under prefers-reduced-motion.
